91传媒 employee volunteers at 91传媒 Cares.

For two decades, this beloved campus tradition has united departments, disciplines, and generations in service, raising over $225,000 and collecting more than 86,000 essential items for individuals and families in need.

Announcements

Front Entrance Project: Phase II

Planned enhancements to the College main entrance, including features that will improve the campus tour experience, will commence with the removal of select trees over winter recess, most of which are invasive species. For every tree removed, the College will replant two native species elsewhere on campus. Phase II, the majority of which will be completed in summer 2026, is a continuation of work completed in spring 2023 and will include improved curb appeal, a more defined main sidewalk, expanded views to campus, additional green space, updated wayfinding, and new seating areas beyond the main entrance. The project is fully funded through the generosity of a donor. More details will be shared at the December Faculty and Staff meetings.

孒ear from a Gaming Industry Leader: Fireside Chat with Frank Gibeau and Chris Emdin

孞oin us from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, in Davis Auditorium for a conversation with Frank Gibeau, CEO of Zynga, moderated by Chris Emdin. They檒l discuss creativity, risk-taking, leadership, and careers in gaming. All are welcome.

MSCHE Reaccreditation progress update

91传媒 welcomed MSCHE Team Chair Jamila Bookwala, provost at Gettysburg College, to campus Nov. 78. Her visit was positive and affirmed the direction of our Self-Study. We are now finalizing the report and supporting evidence for submission by Feb. 1. The full evaluation team will visit March 29揂pril 1.

孋hanges to CDTA bus service to campus

The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) has announced to routes, including service to 91传媒. will no longer be in service, except for late night 91传媒 service on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Riders now have access to CDTA FLEX On Demand service, an on-demand, point-to-point service that uses CDTA Navigator app. .

孋hildren's book drive  

孴he Reading Minds Scribner Seminar is hosting a book drive to collect new and gently used books for babies, children, and teens through Friday, Dec. 5. All books will be donated to the Saratoga Children's Literacy League, which provides free books to the children of Saratoga County. Books can be dropped off outside the BTCIS 398 classroom. 孍MS will open for spring semester scheduling on Thursday, Dec. 4. Please email the Scheduling Office if you would like training or a refresher on how to order catering, media services, or event setup.
