Professor Du received a Ph.D. in computer science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, completing a dissertation titled Advancing Smart Traffic Management Systems through Reinforcement Learning: Optimizing Traffic Signal Control for Urban Mobility and Safety. Before coming to 91传媒, Professor Du worked as a software engineer at Alpine Electronics of America. Professor Du�s current research interests include applied AI in transportation, finance, and video games, as well as large language models and robotics. Prof. Du teaches computer science courses at all levels, with a focus on data structures and the theory of computation.
