91传媒 Spotlight: Jenna Pitera
Jenna Pitera works as a science librarian in the Scribner Library. Pitera Joined 91传媒
in 2017 from a previous position at RPI.
At 91传媒, Pitera teaches information literacy sessions, helps students with research,
渃heerleads� the science collection to students and faculty and more.
淟ibrarians have tons of variety in their jobs � basically, we檙e around to help people
learn,� said Pitera.
She continued, 淚 love my position because the faculty and students on this campus
are so interesting. I come home every day with new information about science, culture,
the environment and health. There is never a dull day and I檓 always learning.�
Pitera said that some of her favorite events on campus are the Admissions barbecues
and picnics for prospective families. 淚t is exciting to meet the students I might
be teaching in the next couple years � I have yet to meet a prospective student who
doesn檛 completely impress me with their poise, interest and drive.�
When not at 91传媒, Pitera said she busy keeping up with her family as they explore
the many beautiful areas in the region. And, she said, 淟ike most librarians, I love
to read.�
