Sarah Goodwin, professor of English, and Jeff Segrave, professor of health and human physiological sciences, delivered a workshop titled 淓mbedding Visual Literacy Goals in an Integrative General Education, at the Association of American Colleges and Universities Network for Academic Renewal conference, 淐reating a 21stt-Century General Education: Responding to Seismic Shifts, in San Francisco, Feb. 14-16. They were joined by Hannah Goodwin of Mount Holyoke College and Hannah Segrave of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

 

Bernie PossidenteSarita LagalwarSarita Lagalwar, associate professor of neuroscience, and Bernie Possidente, professor of biology, attended the Northeast Undergraduate Research in Neuroscience Conference at Quinnipiac University Medical School with nine 91传媒 students, who presented posters about their research. The students were Wenqin He '21, Mingjia Li '20, Simon Goldstein '19, Rebecca Sohn '19, Neha Amatya '20, Cris Gil '20, Nikoleta Chantzi '22, Sophia Zhang '21 and Han Hansen '19. Max Hegge '19 and Melanie Martinez '22 also contributed but did not attend.

 

Jenni MuellerJennifer C. Mueller, assistant professor of sociology and director of 91传媒's Intergroup Relations Program, recently spoke on 淏uilding a Critical Race Theory of Ignorance: From Empiricism to Theory and Back Again at the Racism and Racial Experiences (RARE) Research Lab at Rice University.
