Joseph Cermatori, associate professor English, led a discussion with members of the cast and creative team behind a new staging of G. F. Handel's 1724 opera 湞 ("Julius Caesar in Egypt"), which is being performed at Hudson Hall in Hudson, New York. Cermatori is the production dramaturg and will be leading additional post-performance discussions throughout the month of April. The opera was recently selected as a New York Times Critics Pick for the spring classical music season. 

Masako Inamoto, associate professor of Japanese, co-authored a chapter titled "," published in the volume 淭ranslation, Translanguaging and Machine Translation in Foreign Language Education.� 

Lead Instructional Technologists Aaron Kendall and Ben Harwood and Professor of American Studies and Director of the Center for Leadership, Teaching, and Learning Beck Krefting presented 湞 at NERCOMP 2025, an EDUCAUSE-affiliated conference. Their session featured the Skill2Build AI Institute efforts to strengthen faculty-staff collaboration in academic innovation.
